Terence J. Houlihan has been an educator and counselor for almost 20 years. He has appeared in training videos for educators and is a sought-after conference presenter, with addresses to local, state, regional, and national conferences. Terence also facilitates training seminars for high school and middle school educators at the international level on the developmental changes associated with adolescence and speaks to parent groups about raising teenagers.
In addition to being a high school counselor, he is an adjunct professor for the graduate schools of education at the City University of New York, Lehman College and the College of New Rochelle. Terence has written for the National Association of School Superintendents and the American School Counselor Association. His upcoming publications include more articles on adolescent development as well as a textbook chapter for the National Association of College Admission Counseling on working with students with learning disabilities.
....he also survived his 21 year-old son's teen years...and so did his son.
