Please welcome WPRCA's new President-Elect
Dear
All,
Kathy Ilardi has agreed to be the President-Elect for the coming year. There were a number of members approached and none were interested in running at this time. Kathy Ilardi agreed to be on the election ticket. There were no other names put forth through the nomination.
We should endorse her for the coming year and welcome her to this leadership position.
Thank you,
Mark Brooks
Bio, Kathy Ilardi
For the past 14 years, I have been a Middle School Counselor at Westlake Middle School. I also have experience as a high school counselor, and worked for two years at Greenburgh 11, a Special Act District serving students with special needs. In addition, I also enjoyed my time working at the college level, having worked at Mercy College for 10 years, first as the Director of Student Activities and then as the Dean for Student Affairs. I became active in WPRCA in 2008, when I was elected as a member at large. I have been serving on the Scholarship Committee, and coordinate our Middle School Mentoring activities. I look forward to continuing to work with my colleagues in schools and colleges by serving on the WPRCA Board.
