Lisa Zeitz is a LMSW who has been a practicing Social Worker since 1984. Prior to getting her Masters, she worked in school settings, both residential and day, with special needs adolescents. She was the pediatric oncology Social Worker at NYU Medical Center and then her work led her to a variety of medical settings.
She was also a part of a hospice team, and that experience led her to the Bereavement Center of Westchester in late 2001, and there she has remained. At BCW, she co-leads their Tree House program for young families with their director, Patty Donovan-Duff, see families, adults and children in their offices, train their devoted volunteers and provide consultation and outreach to their partners in the community.
