Middle School Counselors Mentoring / Networking Group

An Organization for School Counselors, College Personnel, Graduate Students and Human Development Professionals announces:

Middle School Mentoring / Networking Group for Middle School Counselors as well as Graduate Students interning at a Middle School.  All Middle school counselors are welcome to attend and share their wealth of knowledge and experience!

Our fall meeting will be on Wednesday, November 20, 4:00 PM.

Westlake Middle School, Westlake Drive, Thornwood, New York.
We will meet in the Main Office of the Middle School.
The Middle School building is attached to the high school and sits behind it.
We will enjoy sharing and learning together.  

Refreshments will be served.

Lisa Zeitz is a LMSW who has been a practicing Social Worker since 1984. Prior to getting her Masters, she worked in school settings, both residential and day, with special needs adolescents. She was the pediatric oncology Social Worker at NYU Medical Center and then her work led her to a variety of medical settings.

She was also a part of a hospice team, and that experience led her to the Bereavement Center of Westchester in late 2001, and there she has remained. At BCW, she co-leads their Tree House program for young  families with their director, Patty Donovan-Duff, see families, adults and children in their offices, train their devoted volunteers and provide consultation and outreach to their partners in the community.
