PRESENTED BY: DR. CHARLES T. WILSON
Dr. Charles T. Wilson is the former Superintendent of the Pelham Schools and previously was Superintendent of North Salem School district. Earlier in his career he was both a counselor and the Director of Guidance at Pelham High School. He had been a past presenter and participant at WPRCA and state conferences. He remains active as an educational consultant and adjunct professor. He is currently adjunct professor for the administration department of Stony Brook University. He continues to consult with local districts on a number of educational issues and strategic planning. Last year, he was invited back to the Pelham district to evaluate its college placement program. Working closely with the counseling department, and its director Gene Farrell, they conducted an extensive longitudinal study of college placement trends in Pelham, the region and nationally. This research model, its findings and recommendation will be surprising and interesting with possible application to other schools. Hand outs will be given.
